HOURS

  • Teacher Hours: 7:45 am to 3:45 pm (by appointment please)

  • Student Classroom Hours: 8:30 am to 2:45 pm 

  • School opens to students at 8:15 am (No early arrivals)

  • Students may enter classrooms at 8:15 am

ABSENT 

  • If your student will be absent or a late arrival, please call the office, (503) 353-3250 or email scoutersattendance@nclack.k12.or.us to let us know, preferably before the start of school.  We will relay the information to the classroom teachers.

SICK 

  • If your child is ill, please remember that he/she needs to be symptom free for 24 hours before returning to school. 

CONTACT PHONE NUMBERS 

  • Please supply us with as many phone numbers as possible for emergency situations at school or involving your child.  Please note that only people on your emergency list may pick up your child from school.  You can use ParentVUE to update this information.

CHANGES 

  • Please notify the office to update the information we have on your child(ren) when there are any changes in phone numbers, address, email, etc.  

  • Please notify the teacher and the office if your child will be changing plans for going home, such as riding home with a friend or parent pick-up instead of riding the bus.  We require a written note when riding home with a friend.

MEDICATIONS 

  • A medical release form is required for all medications that are necessary for your child while at school. Please ask for this form in the office. 

TRANSPORTATION: BUS RIDERS OR PARENT PICK UP 

  • Bus tags are provided for K-3rd grade students on the first day of school. The tag states where your child will be dropped off. Please do not remove the tag from your child’s backpack.  Parents must communicate with the teacher and office noting if their child is to be parent pick up.
